So yes, I’m a very good cook and everyone always asks for my recipes – so I will post as many as I can muster up… enjoy! Oh and don’t be intimidated – I make it all super easy. And tell me how it all turns out. Num-num-num.

The Best Banana Bread Ever!!!

5 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup sugar

12 cup brown sugar

1 large egg

2 egg whites

1 tspn vanilla extract

3 very ripe bananas

1 3/4 cups flour

1 tspn baking soda

1/2 tspn salt

1/4 tspn baking powder

1/2 cup ½ and ½ (or yogurt)

1/3 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

Mash Bananas

Beat butter, sugars, with a hand mixer and add egg and egg whites – add mashed bananas on high speed foe 30 seconds.

In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients, then add this mixture to the wet mixture and cream together… add nuts if wanted.

Pour batter into loaf pan sprayed with non stick spray or butter

(sprinkle some nuts on top if ya like)

Bake at 350 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes (do the toothpick test – clean)
