Say Uncle

DSC_0036

My uncle Manny walked me down the aisle at my wedding. He came from Israel with his fantastic wife, Aunt Margo. It was a great day. Manny was the funniest guy I knew, besides my father. As a kid, I’d here them making jokes and laughing their asses off, always amusing each other. He was a notorious bachelor and we worried about him… until he married Margo and her 4 kids. Our families are in love and today we are very sad because our beloved Manny died. My favorite uncle. When my mother went to visit him in Israel when he lived alone she said, ” it’s very dusty here, don’t you have a house keeper?” and he answered, “She brought the dust.” I love you Manny. Your jokes are with me.
