East Coast – send me a sign.

The perfect NY signage

The perfect NY signage

When I go home to NYC my main goal is to cover as much pavement as possible. I like to commune with the signage and window displays and outfits walking by. I want to examine the faces and smell the street. It takes me back in, into the fold, the real people culture of the natives. That takes me a good three or four days and then I can go to the museums…

I love you, I miss you, I'll be back soon. xxx N

I take busses and subways of course, again to be with my peeps and look, watch, listen and smile. New Yorkers have attitude, confidence – it’s just how it is. I do have pride to be a New Yorker and I love these signs that speak that inner, we got this. You can feel that energy all over town and it makes me smile.
