Red Lips Rock! Alesia Michele Fisher

The Red Lips Revelation!! Wear red lips around the clock for ten days, to work, school, the mall, food shopping, dropping off the kids, to the gym, yoga, spinning, Pilates, walking the dog, making dinner, in the bath… and see what happens.

Then tell us please, we’ll post photos and videos, blog and tweet. Good and bad and scary and fabulous… we want to know how red lips affect your daily experience.

Alesia Michele Fisher  – sculptor, graphic artist, original.

“For me, wearing red lipstick is not so much a fashion statement, it’s more like wherever I am I want to be different.. I LOVE being contrary to my surroundings. So if that means when I’m welding in full industrial uniform, I wanna be that one person that stands out. Red is an attention grabber, it sells. It has almost become a part of me, so much so, if I’m not wearing it I feel bare and sometimes less capable of completing normal tasks. I guess you could say red lipstick gives me that daily boost of confidence. In a field (sculpture) that has seen more male successors than female, I find it satisfying that I’m the girl in the red lipstick, holding the blowtorch and working with toxic materials.
