Red Lips Rock! Silvia Walters

The Red Lips Revelation!! Wear red lips around the clock for ten days, to work, school, the mall, food shopping, dropping off the kids, to the gym, yoga, spinning, Pilates, walking the dog, making dinner, in the bath… and see what happens.

Then tell us please, we’ll post photos and videos, blog and tweet. Good and bad and scary and fabulous… we want to know how red lips affect your daily experience.

Silvia Walters, sassy, Southern, Urban/Country, smart, R&B and Blues singer, writer, student, mother, glam-ma.

Empowe-red! I am attempting to reclaim my feminity, that is attached to my personal power as a woman – reclaiming identity after a decision to change my path. I have returned to college and experienced great scholastic success which has encouraged me to take it to the next level. I want to go to Law School yet somehow, I have lost touch with my softer, sexy side so I have decided to take on a mission, I love makeup yet I haven’t changed much in years, so I have decided to try, “The Redlips Revelation” for 10 days, I will do something I haven’t done in years, I am going back to a bold, sexy red lipstick! This is a big deal for me, it is attention grabbing, it begs for a response, it insinuates power and bold self-esteem. So come follow me, as I and 9 of my beautiful girlfriends take this challenge and document the results.

What type of lipstick do you prefer? What type of finish do you think works best for you? Shiny, glossy, matte or creme? It all depends on my mood, my attitude and my outfit. Today I want my lips to pucker!

Red is the color of power. It draws the person that is listening to you while you are wearing a enticing red lipstick to your every word and nuance. You stand a little taller, you reincentivize yourself to what makes a woman feel powerful and confident. Look out World, here I come!
